Some notes!
On Tokyo's English NameHe picked out "Wayne" for himself. According to the conversation he has with Osaka it's very likely that he named himself that with Batman/Bruce Wayne in mind. But he wouldn't have settled on that right away. He first went through all the most prominent American superheroes' names. Being the savvy metropolitan he is (half the time), he needed a good, fashionable English name that would appeal to the English-speaking world in general, especially the United States.
Peter Parker >> too nerdy. Thinks "Peter" is too plain, and Parker makes him think of "park ranger".
Clark Kent >> sounds too midwest. And "Kent" read in a Japanese accent might as well be a Japanese name.
Steve Rogers >> again, too plain. Steve McSteve. So boring.
Bruce Wayne >> Bruce sounds old. But Wayne is cool, and John Wayne is way cool.
He also thinks the name would retain most of its coolness in Engrish without ending up sounding silly. He's quite mistaken.
Character References i.e. people (2D/real) I will be modelling these kids after:
Tokyo >> Mikami, Death Note
Chiba >> Aiba Masaki, Arashi
Hokkaido >> Ikuta Toma
Hawaii >> Ito Yuna
